Pro Truck Nationals (PTN) is a 300' sand drag racing series that competes in the Midwest United States. The PTN group is comprised of racers that want to see high quality sand drag racing events. PTN's staff works hand in hand with track officials & staff to ensure organized & efficient events.

Pro Truck Nationals started out as a single event each season at West Michigan Sand Dragway, highlighting just the Pro Truck class. From there, PTN has morphed into a multi-event point series that offers great payouts & prizes for winners in multiple classes.

PTN Classes

Pro Truck: The Pro Truck class is the cornerstone class of the PTN series. This class features fast trucks facing off in bracket racing-style action running at speeds approaching 100mph with close finishes of mere inches being commonplace.

Pro Outlaw FE: The newest class in PTN action is the wild Front Engine heads-up class called Pro Outlaw FE. The rules are simple in this class: the engine must be in front of the driver, and wheelbase needs to be 150" or less. Beyond that, anything goes, and we see everything from screw-blown Hemi's all the way to wild high winding naturally aspirated Small Blocks.

3.5 Index: PTN has adopted the 3.5 Index class as one of the headlining classes of the series. In this class, the only rule in this heads-up class is a breakout of 3.500 seconds. A diverse group of race cars competes in this class, and it has become one of the most competitive classes in all of sand drag racing.

Q8 Pro ATV: For 2011, PTN has merged with the Q8 Pro ATV program headed up by Tony McWethy. The Q8 Pro ATV program is a point series that sees the quickest eight ATV's on the property at each event battle it out in bracket-style action to take home the big trophy and bragging rights at the end of the night.
